Mrs. Feliciano is one of the Philippines’ foremost and most respected Christian authors, with a writing career that spanned 40 years and produced nearly 30 books and countless articles, radio scripts, poems, and other literature. She has won awards and was recognized in Christian and literary circles worldwide. Some of her works have been translated to Korean and Vietnamese.

In August of 2010, Mrs. Feliciano passed away after weeks of illness due to a stroke. Yay was the Vice President for Corporate Communications of the San Miguel Food Group until she retired in 1998. After her retirement, she became an entrepreneur servicing the corporate and marketing communications needs of client corporations.
She is a popular national and international conference speaker, has served along side her husband, Dr. Harold J. Sala, since their marriage on December 23, 1959. She has had an active ministry role as pastor’s wife, counselor, Bible teacher, missionary, musician and author. Darlene is actively involved in the leadership of Guidelines International Ministries, which reaches more than one hundred countries through radio, video, literature and conferences. She speaks several times each year at family conferences and churches in the United States as well as the Philippines , China , Ukraine , Russia and Africa .
