It’s back and it’s even more exciting this year!

Last year’s OMF Lit-MIBF Bloggers’ Challenge was simple but our participating bloggers sure had fun. And this year, we’re mixing it up a bit and changing some of the rules so that more of you can join.

Here are the mechanics:

  • Full Name
  • Contact Number
  • Facebook/Twitter
  • Blog URL

2. You have the entire Manila International Book Fair (September 12-16) to complete 5 out of the 10 challenges below (you can also choose to do ALL 1o of the challenges if you want)

  • Interview one of the OMF Lit authors and have your picture taken with him/her/them
  • Talk to 3 customers at the OMF Lit booth and ask them what book made them fall in love with reading
  • Have a wacky picture taken with one of the Hiyas books (bonus points if your picture is related to the theme of the book)
  • Go up to our mic (while there’s no program of course) and recommend your favorite book to all the book shoppers (have someone take your picture while you’re talking as “proof”)
  • Go around SMX and invite a random person to go to the OMF Lit booth through your powers of persuasion (take a pic with the person if they’re game)
  • Donate one of your favorite books to our Swap. Shop. Share program. Click here to find out more.
  • Post on your social networks (from September 12-15) to invite people to go to the Book Fair. Be as creative as possible in your post. For all the details of the MIBF, click here
  • Take a nice/creative/extraordinary shot of the booth/people/books
  • Leave a handwritten note inside your favorite OMF Lit book for some random person who will buy the book (take a picture of the note as you place it inside the book)
  • Find out what the surprise item 55 is in the 55 Things To Look Forward To at the MIBF

3. After you’ve finished 5 (or more) out of the 10 challenges, write a blog post about it, complete with pictures, quotes from the people you interviewed, or even videos. Deadline for sending us the link to your post is September 21, 2012.

One of the most common questions or inquiries that we receive on our website is “When is Tomo 8 coming out?” And most of the time, it’s little kids who ask this question and it breaks our heart a little to tell them “Sorry, it’s still not here yet”

Well, the long wait is almost over because on March 15, we will finally be releasing the last book in this beloved epic series.

Tomo 8: The Battle for Argon Falls is the final chapter in the adventures of Hanna and Tomo, as they battle Urn’Ado and his forces that threaten to take over Argon Falls.

The last time we met Hanna and Tomo in Vol 7: The Betrayal of Trust, they had just rejoined Jou and the rebel forces, and Hanna discovered that her father was the leader of the rebellion.

In this final chapter, Hana’s world is rocked with the defeat of Argon Falls at the hands of Urn’Ado. Hana and Tomo are the only ones standing in between him and complete victory. All seems lost, but Hana and her friends refuse to give up and hold on to their faith and prepare for one last battle that will determine the fate of Argon Falls once and for all.
